A short beach trip with Julie and my friends Andy & Mia to Black Point made for a fun afternoon in Hawaii. The sun was out, the waves and tides were rising, and wind gently cooling down the beach we were on. The place on the beach we chose to settle down was close to the water, which made it exciting to avoid the random rogue wave that would crash our party. I built a sand moat for protection. It was being like six-years old again.
With the moat being completed, and the chance that a wave would sweep over our stuff, it was time to enjoy the beach.
By the end of the afternoon, the tide had come up fairly far and it was time to leave. We headed to Waiola Shave Ice to enjoy a nice treat after the beach.
